B. Sc. Neuroscience Program

Prof. D. Baranes is the Program Coordinator

B.Sc. neuroscience program is among the most prestigious B.Sc, tracks in all academic institutions in Israel and around the globe. While the whole neuroscience program encompasses all academic levels from B.Sc. to Ph.D. and post-doctoral field, B.Sc. program is a root and foundation for success of cultivation and education of the future neuroscientists. Achieving to excellence in B.Sc. program will be a pledge for preparation of a reliable reserve for the future of neuroscience research. To strike this challenge, here, in Ariel University, we prepared a bottom up designed and fully adapted program, which includes core disciplines, biological education and neuroscience related mandatory courses. In addition, the students will be allowed to take advanced elective course. The program will provide high integrative level of understanding of difference fields of neuroscience, its interfacing and interaction with other more fields of science, will endow true interdisciplinary capability of thinking to the excellent students, which will be chosen based on rigorous and highly competitive selection.

B.Sc. neuroscience program was developed in cooperation of the departments of Molecular Biology and Behavioral Sciences.

Mandatory Program includes:

Core Courses:

Introduction to Chemistry, General Biology, Mathematics for Biologists, Organic Chemistry, Analytic Chemistry, Introduction to Computational Sciences and Programming in Natural Sciences, General Physics (classical mechanics and electrodynamics), Laboratory Course for General and Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry
